Konark Vegetarian Restaurant

Konark Vegetarian Restaurant is over at No.50 on Residency Road, which is right near the old Cash Pharmacy building. This part of Bangalore, with the 560025 pin code, has changed so much since we first started, but we are still here in the same spot. Residency Road is always packed with cars and people, especially during the rush hour when everyone is trying to get across town. We are right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The building we are in is quite old, and it has that classic Bangalore feel to it that you do not see as much anymore with all the new glass buildings going up. We focus on being a simple vegetarian place where people can grab a bite without any fuss. We do not have fancy menus or expensive prices. It is mostly just about being a reliable spot for the office workers and shoppers who are always around this area. Sometimes the sidewalk outside is so crowded that it is hard to even get to the door, but people manage. We have a small staff, and some of them have been with us for years, so they know exactly how things should be done. We do not have a big mission statement or anything, we just show up, open the doors, and get to work every morning. It is a basic way of doing things, but it works for us and the regular people who visit.
