Our shop, Kolekar Toolings Pvt Ltd, is at 63 Peenya Industrial Area, Iii Phase, on the 4th Main. The 3rd Phase is a huge area and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the main roads. We have been at this location for a good while. The building is a solid, two-story structure with the workshop on the bottom and a small storage area upstairs. It is always busy on the 4th Main with trucks loading and unloading. We hear the constant hum of generators and the sound of heavy metal being moved around. It is a very functional place. We keep the floor as clear as we can, but with all the tooling work we do, there are always scraps and shavings around. We have a small crew and we all know each other's habits. Most days are spent hunched over workbenches or checking the dimensions on a piece of steel. It is not glamorous, but it is the work we know how to do. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually keep the big doors half-closed to keep the heat out. We drink tea twice a day, usually standing up near the entrance. It is a simple routine that keeps us going through the week. We just focus on getting the jobs done as they come in. There is no point in complicating things when the work speaks for itself.
