Kiran Engineering Works

This workshop is located at 284, 17th D Cross in JP Nagar, specifically in the 6th Phase. Kiran Engineering Works has been sitting on this street for quite some time now. It's a typical engineering shop where there is always some smell of grease or metal shavings in the air. We keep the doors open most days unless it's raining really hard or the wind is blowing dust inside. People in the neighborhood know us as the place with the loud tools and the steady noise of work. We do a lot of small repairs and custom parts that people need for their machines or home projects. It is definitely not a shiny factory. The floors have some permanent oil stains and the wooden benches are worn down from years of heavy work. We usually have a few different projects going on at the same time, so things can get a bit cluttered. You might find some scrap metal in the corner waiting to be cleared out. The 6th Phase is a decent area to work in, even if the traffic gets a bit much in the evenings. We try to keep things simple here. If a neighbor walks in with a broken piece of equipment, we take a look and see what can be done. It's honest, manual work. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because the work itself is what matters. My hands are usually dirty by noon, but that is just part of the job. We keep our heads down and finish whatever is on the bench.
