Kiran Caterers

Our setup is located at No.323 in the 3rd Block of Kalyan Nagar. It is a pretty quiet part of Banaswadi compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. Kiran Caterers is something we started because we liked the idea of being part of people’s celebrations. We handle a lot of the smaller functions around here, like birthdays or small housewarmings. The house we work out of is where all the planning and a good bit of the prep happens. It isn't a huge facility, so we have to stay organized or things get chaotic very quickly. Most of our staff are local folks from around the 3rd Block. We don't go in for fancy presentations with dry ice or anything like that. We just focus on the recipes that we know people like. Sometimes the logistics of getting food across Banaswadi during the evening rush is the hardest part of the job. We spend a lot of time washing giant pots and making sure the cutlery is clean. It is hard work and your back definitely feels it at the end of a long Saturday. We don't try to pretend we are bigger than we are. We are just a small catering team trying to do a decent job for the neighbors. People seem to appreciate that we are straightforward about what we can deliver and when we will be there.
