Khan Engineering Works

Our shop, Khan Engineering Works, is located at 13/2 on 3rd Cross in MD Block. Malleshwaram is one of those older parts of town where everyone seems to know each other, and we have been part of this street for a long time. The workshop is pretty packed with tools, lathes, and scraps of metal. It is loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We do not have a showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we are doing, you just walk right into the garage area where the work is happening. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, so you have to watch your step. We spend our days fixing things and making parts for people in the neighborhood or small businesses nearby. It is hard work and it gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a big old fan that helps a bit. We aren't really into using computers much, we prefer to work with our hands and a measuring tape. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but mostly they just wave when they walk past. It is a simple life here in MD Block. We start early, finish when the job is done, and try to do right by the people who trust us with their repairs and projects.
