Khan Catering

We are tucked away at No.48/1 on 2nd Cross, which is right near the old ITC factory on Hutchins Road. It is an interesting spot because you still have that old industrial feel mixed with the houses. Khan Catering has been our life for a good while. Our kitchen is almost always going with something on the flame. If you walk down the cross, you will probably smell the onions frying or the spices before you see our sign. We don't have a big front office or a place for people to sit and eat. It is strictly a kitchen where we do the heavy lifting for parties and family meals. We handle everything from the initial prep to the final packing. A lot of people from the neighborhood just drop by when they have something coming up. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and direct. Sometimes Hutchins Road gets so backed up that we have to leave much earlier than planned just to reach a venue on time. We don't use any pre-made stuff if we can help it. It is mostly just a lot of manual work, chopping and stirring. The space is a bit cramped when we have a big order, but we’ve learned how to move around each other. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just want the food to be hot and the people who hired us to be satisfied with what we brought.
