Our office is up on the first floor of building number 25, right where 5th Main and 7th Cross meet in Shakambari Nagar. It is part of the Sarakki area in J.P. Nagar 1st Phase, which is always crowded with people and vehicles. You have to climb a narrow set of stairs to get to us, and the hallway can get a bit dark if the light isn't switched on. We have been working from this spot for some time now, dealing with all the paperwork and phone calls that come with marketing. The windows look out over the street, so we can see the daily chaos of the crossroad below. It is not a very big space, but we have enough room for the desks and the filing cabinets. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up during our breaks. Most of our day is spent talking to people or coordinating things over the computer. JP Nagar is a fast-moving place, and being in this corner of Sarakki keeps us right in the middle of it all. The walls are a bit plain, and the floor has a few scuffs from moving furniture around, but it works for what we need. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It is just a functional office where we get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the traffic noise makes it hard to hear on the phone, but that's just life in this part of Bangalore.
