Ajanta Engineering Works

We are located at No. 2 in the Ezikal Industrial Estate. This is where Ajanta Engineering Works has been for quite some time now. It’s a typical workshop environment, so you can expect a lot of metal scraps, oil on the floor, and the sound of grinding machines. It gets pretty loud during the day when we are in the middle of a project. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit and wait. Most people who come here are looking to get something fixed or fabricated, so they just stand in the doorway and talk to us while we work. My clothes are always dirty by noon, but that’s part of the trade. We have a few old machines that we’ve been using for years, and they still work better than the new ones sometimes. It’s a lot of manual labor and figuring things out as we go. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth in the estate. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot and keep going until the work is finished. It’s simple, honest work with our hands. We don’t promise anything impossible, we just do what we can with the tools we have. It’s a gritty place, but it’s ours. There is always a lot of clanging and banging, but we don't mind it much.
