Katalst Engineering Industries

Katalst Engineering Industries is tucked away at 15th Cross in the Doddanna Industrial Estate, specifically at units 112/5 20 and 21. We are in the Viswaneedam area. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there are always trucks moving and machines humming in the background. Our shop is a busy place. We do a lot of industrial engineering work. It’s not the cleanest environment, we usually have oil on our clothes and dirt under our fingernails by the end of the shift. We have a few different machines that take up most of the space on the floor. It can get cramped when we have a big project going on. We don't really have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. We’ve been in Doddanna for a good while and know most of the neighbors. We help each other out with tools or advice sometimes. It’s a community of makers. We don't bother with fancy brochures or a big online presence. Most of the time we are just focused on the metal sitting in front of us. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long when a deadline is coming up, but we like the feeling of finishing a tough job. It's just what we do here day in and day out without much fuss.
