Being located at 235T Kudle Gate in the B M S Industrial Area means we deal with a lot of dust and noise every day. This is the 3rd Phase of the area, so it’s pretty industrial. Karnataka Plascom Engineers Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this workshop for years. We aren't the type of people who sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, you’ll find us on the floor checking on things or talking to the guys about the latest batch. The road outside can be a mess when it rains, making it hard for trucks to get in and out, but we manage somehow. It’s a practical space. We’ve got some heavy machinery that’s been with us since the start and it needs a lot of looking after. Our office is just a small room partitioned off from the main work area. It’s cramped but we have our coffee machine there which is basically our lifeblood. There’s no marketing team here writing fancy brochures. We just do the engineering work and talk to our regulars. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a tight group over time. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when a machine breaks down, but that’s just how it goes in an industrial zone like this one. We stay until the job is done.
