Karnataka Engineering Industries

Karnataka Engineering Industries is located at 4 Peenya 2nd Stage. Our place is on 11th Cross, right inside the Patel Channappa Industrial Estate. To get here, you have to come down Andrahalli Main Road and turn in. It’s a big industrial area with a lot of different factories and workshops all crowded together. Our unit isn't the biggest, but we have enough space for our machines and the materials we need to keep on hand. There is usually a lot of noise from the neighboring units, and the road outside is often dusty from all the heavy trucks passing through. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we try to make the most of the space we have. I usually have a lot of things on my mind, from checking the output to making sure we aren't running low on supplies. It’s a very hands-on environment. I don't spend much time sitting in an office; I’m usually out on the floor with the rest of the guys. We’ve been at this location for years, so we know the other business owners in the estate pretty well. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. The day starts early here, usually before the sun is fully up, and we don't finish until the work is done.
