Kanchi Co Sri Kasturi Society Silks

We are located right across from the Someshwara Temple, just under the Fernendiz Bridge on Avenue Road. Most people know the spot because it is pretty busy around here. We have been running Kanchi Co Sri Kasturi Society Silks for a good while now. Our shop is filled with all kinds of silks that we get in regularly. It is a bit of a crowded area with all the traffic coming off the bridge, but we like it here. Sometimes the shop gets a little dusty because of the road, but we try to keep the fabrics clean and folded. People usually stop by while they are out doing their other shopping on Avenue Road. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything, just shelves packed with material. If you come in, you will probably see one of us sitting near the counter checking the stock or helping someone find a specific color. We have various patterns, some traditional and some more basic. It takes time to go through everything, but we do not mind if people take their time looking. The temple across the street is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. We open up early and stay until the evening. It is a family-run type of thing, so it is pretty relaxed inside despite the noise outside. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and making sure the prices are fair for what we have. It is honest work and we enjoy seeing the regulars who come back every year.
