Kanchan Cnc

We run Kanchan Cnc at 47 Viswaneedam 4th Cross, which is inside the Doddanna Industrial Estate. If you come down the Main Road, you’ll find us among many other workshops and factories. It’s a loud place to work because the CNC machines are running most of the day. There is always the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being cut. We spend our time programming the machines and checking the parts to make sure they are right. It’s precision work, even if the workshop itself looks a bit greasy and cluttered. We wear heavy shoes and our hands are usually stained with oil by the time we go home. We work on all sorts of metal components for different customers. Some days we are very busy with large orders, and other days we are just doing small bits and pieces. There isn’t much space for a fancy office, so we just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and take calls. The industrial estate is a busy world of its own, with trucks moving in and out all the time. We don’t do any marketing; people just know we are here in the 4th cross. It’s hard work, and the machines need a lot of looking after to keep them running smoothly. We just keep our heads down and get the parts finished. It’s a long day on the factory floor most of the time.
