Kamalakshi Silk And Sarees

Our shop, Kamalakshi Silk And Sarees, is located at 17 S M Dube Road in Kalyan Nagar. It’s a regular street with a lot of movement. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we have plenty of stuff inside. We've got a lot of silk and different kinds of sarees piled up. It takes a lot of time to keep things neat, and honestly, we aren't always perfect at it. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days we don't even have time to eat lunch. People from around Kalyan Nagar come in often. We don't really have a big philosophy or a mission statement. We just sell sarees because that’s what we know how to do. The S M Dube Road can get a bit loud with the traffic, but inside it’s usually okay. We try to keep a good variety so there's something for everyone who walks through the door. It’s just a family-run kind of place. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our notebooks and our hands. It’s been this way for a while now and we don't see any reason to change it. We just show up and do the work.
