Our workshop is located at Peenya 6th Main, R P C Layout, over in Vijaynagar 2nd stage at 1015/B. It’s a proper industrial spot, so it is always noisy and smells like machine oil. We have these CNC machines that run for most of the day, cutting and shaping metal parts for different clients. It’s a dusty environment and we all wear our work clothes that usually end up with grease stains by lunchtime. The shop floor is where everything happens. We have to be careful around the equipment because those machines are heavy and move fast. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend hours trying to figure out what went wrong with the settings or the hardware. It’s frustrating but that’s just part of working in a machine shop. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. We just have a small corner with a table for the paperwork and some chairs for when we take a break. Most of the guys here have been working with metal for a long time. We know the sounds the machines make when they are working right and when they aren't. Peenya is a big industrial area, so there are shops like ours all over the place. We just focus on our own orders and try to keep the machines running smooth so we can finish on time. It is hard work but it keeps us busy every day. The work is tough but honest.
