Kalaanantarupah Dance School

The place is right here on Sultanpalya 6th Main, just a bit down from the RT Nagar post office area. It’s a busy spot but we manage to get things done inside. Most days start early with sweeping the floor before the first set of kids shows up. It gets pretty loud once the music starts playing and everyone is trying to get their steps right. The wooden floor has seen better days, honestly, but it works for what we do. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know the sound of the bells. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to keep going with the windows open. It’s not a fancy studio with mirrors on every single wall, just a space where people come to learn how to move. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and old schedules that I haven't thrown away yet. People stop by to ask about classes while they're out doing their shopping. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the door near the corner. It's a simple setup. We spend a lot of time just repeating the same movements until they stick. The fans are always on high speed because it gets hot fast when ten people are jumping around. Sometimes I forget to lock the back gate, but it's a safe enough street. We just keep teaching every day.
