Kaggi Bakeshop & Cafe The

Our shop, Kaggi Bakeshop & Cafe The, is located at number 17 in the KSRTC Layout. We are right on the 50 Feet Road, near the Subramanyapura Main Road in Krishnarajapuram. It’s a good-sized space where we do all our baking. You can usually smell the bread and cakes from the street before you even see the door. We have some tables set out for people who want to stay for a bit. The furniture is a bit mismatched, just things we’ve picked up over time. It’s not a polished cafe like the ones you see in the mall. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving because the ovens make it hot. The floor is just tiles that we sweep throughout the day. We get a mix of people, from office workers grabbing a coffee to families buying bread for breakfast. It’s a bit of a messy business, with flour sometimes getting on the counters. We don't mind it much. It’s a busy neighborhood and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working the counter and the kitchen. It’s a simple life here. We just try to get the baking done on time and keep the place open for the regulars. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected when it is a busy day.
