Kadambam Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked away in the Sri Puttana Chetty Complex on Bull Temple Road. If you know Basavanagudi, you probably know the BSNL office right across from us or the Ramakrishna Ashram just down the street. It’s a very traditional part of Bangalore, and we fit right into that vibe. We aren't trying to be one of those new cafes with loud music and expensive menus. Instead, we just serve the kind of food people in this neighborhood have been eating for generations. The complex is a bit old, but it stays busy because of all the offices and the temple nearby. We get a lot of regulars who come in every day for their lunch or a quick coffee in the afternoon. It can get a bit crowded during the peak hours, especially on weekends when people are visiting the Ashram. The space inside is functional. We have chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use, but they do the job. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just open the shutters in the morning and start cooking. Most of our staff have been with us for years and they know the regulars by name. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from Bull Temple Road right outside, but that’s just life in 560004. We’re just a local eating house doing our thing every day, serving whoever comes through the door looking for a meal.
