You can find us over at No.8/30 in Chikka Mavalli, right near the Kamath Hotel. If you know the area, you know that S K Lane can be a bit tight, especially with all the traffic coming through the West Gate. We’ve been operating from this small space for a while, mostly dealing with the daily rush of cooking and getting things ready. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have big orders, but we’ve gotten used to working in these close quarters. The kitchen gets hot, and there’s always the sound of pots and pans clanging around. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights to show where we are. Usually, the smell of whatever we are cooking is enough for people to realize they’ve found the right place. Being near the hotel means there’s always people walking past, and sometimes we stop to chat with the neighbors. It’s a very old part of the city, so the buildings are close together and the streets are narrow. We do our own thing here, focusing on the food and making sure everything is packed up right before it goes out. Sometimes we run a bit behind when it’s raining hard, as the lane gets a bit flooded and messy. That’s just life in Chikka Mavalli, and we wouldn't really have it any other way. It’s just us doing the work.
