Jyoti Handicrafts Sports

We are located at No. 24 Mm Lane in the Golarpet area, just off the Nagarthpet Cross. If you have ever been to this part of Bangalore, you know how tight the lanes are and how the buildings are stacked right next to each other. At Jyoti Handicrafts Sports, we have a bit of everything squeezed into our shop. One corner is full of sports equipment like cricket bats and footballs, while the other side is packed with different handicrafts and decorative items. It is a strange mix, but it is what we have been doing for years. The shop smells like seasoned wood and leather. We spend our days unpacking crates and arranging items on the shelves so people can actually see them. It is very crowded during the festival seasons when everyone is looking for gifts or new gear for their kids. We do not have a computer for everything, so we still write things down in big ledgers. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the air moving in the cramped space. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item behind the stacks, but we usually know exactly where it is hidden. Nagarthpet is a place with a lot of history, and we enjoy being part of the local trade. We are not interested in being a big chain store. We just like our small spot in the lane and the people who come in to browse.
