Arva Crafts

Our little workspace is located at 30/15 in Jp 1St Phase, very close to the Ganesh Temple. You can often hear the temple bells from where we sit and work. We aren't a big factory or anything; it’s more of a small setup where we handle different crafts. There are always bits of wood, fabric, or paint lying around on the tables. It can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of orders to finish, but that’s just the nature of making things by hand. We spend a lot of time sitting and focusing on the small details. Sometimes the neighbors pop their heads in to see what we are making this week. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood except when there is a festival at the temple. We don't have a big marketing team or a glossy catalog. We just make the items and put them on the shelves. Most of the people who buy from us are locals or people who were walking by the temple and saw our door open. We use simple tools and try to do a decent job with every piece. The light in the shop is okay during the day, but we have to use extra lamps in the evening to see what we’re doing. It’s a modest way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the community here in JP Phase.
