Bangalore Fab

At Bangalore Fab, we operate out of No. 9/20 on 14Th E Cross Road in the Industrial Town area of Rajaji Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city for fabrication work. Our shop is usually full of metal scraps and welding equipment. We spend our time cutting, bending, and joining pieces together. It’s a noisy place to be, and the smell of ozone from the welding is always in the air. We have a few guys who have been doing this for decades. They can look at a piece of steel and know exactly how it will react to the heat. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of the time, we are just in our overalls working on a deadline. The office is just a small room in the corner where we keep the invoices and the phone. Sometimes customers come in with sketches on a piece of scrap paper and we have to figure out how to build it. Rajaji Nagar has changed a lot, but this industrial patch still feels the same. We take our tea breaks together at the stall down the road. It’s simple, honest work. We try to get the jobs done on time, though sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half a day fixing them.
