Gujarat Rajasthan Handicrafts

Gujarat Rajasthan Handicrafts is over on Mahatma Gandhi Road. We are on the first floor of the Public Utility Building, specifically at 4 MG Road. This building is a bit of a classic in the area and has been around forever. Our shop is filled with all sorts of items brought in from Gujarat and Rajasthan. There are fabrics, small statues, and decorative pieces everywhere you look. It can get a bit dusty because of all the textiles and old wood, but we try to keep it tidy for the visitors. The space is packed with color and different textures. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything formal like that. It’s mostly just us showing people the different crafts and explaining where they came from. Some items are handmade and have those little imperfections that show a real person actually made them by hand. We’ve been in this building for years, and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our window on the first floor. People come in looking for unique gifts or something special for their homes. We enjoy talking to the customers who appreciate the traditional styles and hard work. The elevators in the building can be slow sometimes, so most people just take the stairs up to see our collection. It’s a simple business. We source things we like and hope others like them too. There isn't much more to it than that. We just enjoy the craft.
