Jupiter Watch

Jupiter Watch is located right near the bus stop on the 1st Main Road in Yeshwantpur. It’s a convenient spot, especially for people who are commuting and need a quick battery change or a new strap. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of watches into the display cases over the years. We’ve been here in Yeshwantpur for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. My father worked with watches too, so I grew up around the sound of ticking. We do a mix of things here. Some people come in to buy a simple, reliable watch for daily use. Others bring in old family pieces that haven't worked in decades, hoping we can bring them back to life. It’s a lot of squinting through a loupe and using tiny tweezers. The noise from the bus stop outside is always there, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have any fancy marketing or big light-up signs. We just have our bench and our tools. Sometimes a repair is easy and takes five minutes, and other times I have to wait weeks for a specific part to arrive. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just sitting at the bench and working on movements. People know us as the local watch guys, and that suits us just fine. We just keep the clocks running and the doors open for anyone who needs help.
