You can find us over at Plot No. 14 on 1st Main Road in the T R Layout. We are right by Hulimavu Gate on Bannerghatta Road, directly across from the Choudeshwari Temple. The sound of the temple bells is a regular part of our day. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always traffic crawling by outside the gate. We keep the cranes parked in the layout where there’s enough room to turn them around. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we’re bringing in the bigger rigs from a job. We’ve been based here for some time and have gotten to know the shopkeepers on the main road quite well. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around waiting for the next job to start. We don’t go for any fancy decorations; the walls are mostly covered with old calendars and maps of the city. Most of our work is around this side of town, helping out with the new buildings going up or moving heavy containers. The dusty boots and greasy hands come with the territory. We try to be fair with everyone and just do the job we said we would do. Sometimes the Bangalore traffic makes us late, but we always show up eventually. It’s a local business run by people who just want to keep things moving.
