We are based at 3302/L in the Indira Nagar area. It’s a pretty good neighborhood to be in, though it has changed quite a bit since we first moved into this space. Japan Cbm Corporation India Pvt Ltd has been operating here for a while, and we’ve grown used to the way the trees line the streets and how the afternoon light hits the front of the building. Our office is a straightforward place. We haven’t spent much on expensive furniture or modern art; we mostly just have what we need to get through the workday. There’s a small area where we keep the printer and the water cooler, which is where most of the gossip happens during breaks. The staff here is a mix of people who have lived in this part of the city their whole lives and some newer folks who are still getting used to the traffic. We don’t really do anything promotional or try to stand out from the other buildings on the block. We just show up, handle our responsibilities, and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, and we all have to wait around for it to come back, but that’s just part of working in this area. It’s a honest, quiet way to spend the week.
