Our workshop is located in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at C-20 on the 22nd Cross in the 2nd Sector. Peenya is a really big place, and we are right in the middle of all the other factories and small shops. We do fabrication work, which basically means a lot of welding, cutting, and bending metal into whatever shape a customer needs. The sparks are usually flying from the grinders pretty much all day long. It’s a gritty environment with the smell of burnt metal and the constant sound of heavy machinery. We have a small crew of workers who really know their way around a welding torch and a hammer. The 22nd Cross is usually very busy with tempos and big lorries moving goods in and out. We’ve got a decent amount of space in our shed, but it quickly fills up when we have a big project going on. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small corner with a wooden desk and some chairs where we talk to customers about their orders. It’s honest, physical work that leaves you feeling tired at the end of the shift. We deal with iron and steel mostly. If you come by to see us, you'll see everyone in their work gear, probably covered in some soot or metal dust. We just focus on getting the fabrication done right so the parts fit together like they are supposed to. It’s just the way it is.
