J Furtado Architects & Planners

We are over at No.13 on Hayes Road. Most people know the area because of the Richmond Hotel nearby. J Furtado Architects & Planners has been in this part of Richmond Town for a bit now. It is a busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. Our office is not anything fancy, just a place where we sit with our drawings and plans. Sometimes the traffic outside gets pretty loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Finding us is usually easy because of the hotel, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time. The building itself has its own character, like many of the older spots in Bangalore. We spend most of the day looking at blueprints or talking about different projects we have going on. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually go when we need a break from the computer screens. It is just a normal office routine here. We have a few desks, some tall cabinets for files, and the usual mess of papers that comes with planning buildings. People stop by to talk about their sites, and we just try to get the work done. Hayes Road has its own rhythm, and being part of this neighborhood feels right for what we do. It is just us, doing our thing every day.
