We are located at 545 Jayanagar within the Vishva Bharati Society. You can find Investsmart Insurance & Risk Management Service Ltd on the 2nd floor. The building is at the corner of 9th Main and 18th Cross in Vijayanagar. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something to look at out the window. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We have filing cabinets everywhere because insurance involves a lot of paperwork. Some days the piles seem to grow faster than we can file them away. It’s a small team here on the 2nd floor. We’ve all worked together for quite some time, so we know each other's habits. The society area is mostly houses and small businesses, which gives it a friendly feel. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their computer and say hello. The 18th Cross gets pretty crowded in the evenings when people are heading home. We usually stay until the work is done, sometimes later than we’d like. It’s just the nature of the job. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. It’s a simple, practical office where we just focus on the task in front of us without any of the corporate jargon you hear elsewhere. We just try to do right by the people who come to see us.
