Infomedia18 Ltd

Down in Bijapur at the A/P Korwar area, things are a bit slower than in the big cities. That is where we have our setup for Infomedia18 Ltd. It is a pretty straightforward place to work and we are right there in the middle of Karnataka. The weather gets really hot during the summer and the ground is often quite dusty, but that is just part of living in this region. Our building is simple and doesn't have any of those modern glass fronts you see in Bangalore. We have our desks and our equipment and we just get on with the media work. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy so we have to wait a while for things to upload, which gives us time to talk about local news or what is happening in the village. It is a small team and we all know each other's families. We do not have a human resources department or a big corporate handbook to follow. We just show up and do what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we have to travel out to other parts of Bijapur for our projects and the roads can be a bit bumpy. It is a different kind of life than the corporate world, more connected to the land and the local people. We have been here for a while and we plan on staying because this is where our roots are. It is just a regular office doing regular media tasks.
