Infantry Wedding Hall

Our hall is right there at 29 Infantry Road, and it’s been a part of this street for quite some time. If you’re in the 560001 area, you know how busy it gets around here with all the traffic. The building has a lot of history to it. We spend our days showing families around the space, explaining where the stage goes and where the food gets served. It’s a lot of walking back and forth on the big floors. When there isn't a wedding happening, the place feels very quiet and a bit empty, but we are always busy cleaning or fixing a light bulb somewhere. During the wedding season, it’s a completely different story. Everything is loud, there are flowers everywhere, and we are usually running around making sure the gates are open for the guests. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs. We usually just sit at a small desk near the entrance to take notes. People come to us because they know the location is easy to get to. It’s a practical place. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn’t. It’s a big room for people to celebrate in, and we just make sure the doors are unlocked and the electricity is working. Dealing with so many different families can be stressful, but it’s interesting to see all the different ways people celebrate.
