Indira Darshini

Indira Darshini is located right at No.11/1 on Plain Street, which is just off Infantry Road here in Bangalore. If you know where the HDFC Bank on Infantry Road is, we are basically right next to it. It is a very busy area with lots of people coming and going from offices all day. We open early to get things ready for the morning crowd. The place is usually filled with the sound of plates clinking and people talking over their coffee. We have been here for a bit now, serving locals and people who work nearby in the 560001 area. Our space is not very big, but we try to keep it moving so everyone gets what they need without waiting too long. It is just a regular spot where you can grab a quick bite. Sometimes it gets a little crowded during lunch hour, especially since Plain Street is quite narrow. We do not spend money on fancy ads or anything like that. We just focus on the daily routine of keeping the kitchen running and making sure the tables are wiped down. Most of our regulars are people who have been coming here for years. It is nice seeing the same faces every day. That is pretty much what Indira Darshini is about, just a local eatery doing its thing in the heart of the city near the bank. It is simple work but we like it.
