Indian Carpet Designer

We are Indian Carpet Designer, and our workshop is at No 190 2 on the 19th Cross in Bagalagunte. This is in the Nagasandra area of Bangalore. It’s quite a way out from the city center, which makes it a bit quieter. We have a lot of space here for the different designs we work on. The 19th Cross is a narrow street, so it can be a bit tricky if two cars are trying to pass each other. We spend our days surrounded by patterns and materials. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. You won't find many fancy desks here, mostly just large tables and areas where we can see the full size of a design. The light is pretty good in the mornings which helps with the work. Nagasandra is an interesting part of town because it’s still growing. We’ve been here at No 190 for a bit and we like the local feel of Bagalagunte. There’s a small tea shop just down the road where we usually go in the afternoon. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big front office or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or by coming directly to the 19th Cross. It’s a bit messy with all the scraps and sketches lying around, but that’s how we work best. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in this small corner of Bangalore.
