Finding us on Bvk Iyengar Road can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't familiar with the area. We are tucked away in the New 7th Cross at number 28. This part of the city is always buzzing with traders and people moving goods back and forth on carts. It’s the heart of the old market area, so it’s loud, dusty, and full of energy. The Igene Group office is up a narrow set of stairs, and once you get inside, it’s a lot quieter than the street below. We’ve got shelves full of ledgers and samples of things we work with. The floors are a bit worn from all the walking, and the windows don't always open easily, but it’s our space. We started here because this is where the business happens in this city. You meet all kinds of people on the 7th Cross, and that’s the best part of being here. We don't have a human resources department or a marketing team; we just have a few dedicated people who know how to handle the daily grind. Usually, we start early before the heat gets too bad and stay until the shutters start coming down on the shops nearby. It’s a practical way to run things, and we wouldn't have it any other way. The tea vendor downstairs knows exactly how we like our tea, which is a nice bonus for those long afternoons.
