We’re based out on Kanakapura Road at number 55. Honeycomb Retail India Pvt Ltd is essentially just a big operation of moving things from one place to another. We handle a lot of different products, so the warehouse part of the building is always a bit of a mess with cardboard boxes and packing tape. It’s not the kind of place people visit to browse. It’s more about the logistics of getting orders sorted and sent out. The traffic on Kanakapura Road is a nightmare most days, so our delivery drivers are always complaining about the time it takes to get anywhere. We spend our mornings on the phone or looking at inventory lists on a dusty computer screen. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just desks, shelves, and a lot of coffee to keep us going. The team here is small, and we’ve all learned how to do a bit of everything, from accounting to loading trucks. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking barcodes and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. We don't really have a big grand story about why we started. We just saw a gap in the retail supply chain and decided to fill it. It’s a lot of sweat and paperwork, but it keeps the lights on. We just stay focused on the boxes and the road and hope the trucks don't break down.
