Honey Music Academy

Honey Music Academy is located on the 3rd Floor at No 56, 3rd Main Road in Basavanagudi. It’s a nice part of Bangalore, full of old trees and a lot of history. You have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to us since we are on the top floor. Once you’re inside, you’ll usually hear some music playing, maybe a guitar or someone practicing their scales. It’s not a silent, fancy conservatory. It’s a place where people come to learn and make mistakes. We have a few rooms partitioned off for lessons. The floors aren't perfectly polished, and the walls have some posters and music sheets pinned up. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just teachers and students. Sometimes the instruments need tuning or the chairs are a bit squeaky, but that’s the reality of a working music school. We’ve been in this Basavanagudi spot for a while. We see a lot of kids coming after school and some adults who want to pick up a hobby. It’s a bit of a climb to the third floor, but the view of the street below is alright. We just focus on the lessons and keeping the schedules together. It’s a simple, local place for anyone who wants to learn a bit about music.
