Finding 263 Jakasandra Station Road can be a bit of a trek if you aren't used to the Tagore Nagar area. We are right there on the second floor, pretty close to iGATE Global Services, which usually helps people find us when they get lost. It's a big operation here at Hewlett Packard Global Delivery India Center. There are a lot of desks and a lot of people on headsets or typing away. The morning rush is always something, with everyone trying to get in and get their systems started at the same time. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to folks in different time zones. It's a bit strange sometimes, working while the rest of the city might be sleeping or eating dinner. The office has that specific smell of air conditioning and plastic. We have a small break area where the tea is okay, but most people prefer going out for a quick walk to get some fresh air. Working here means you get used to the fast pace. It’s not exactly a quiet little shop. It’s busy and there’s always some new system to learn or a problem to solve for someone far away. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now. Most of us know the shortcuts around Jakasandra to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up, do their shift, and then head home to their families.
