Herbs & Spice Restaurant

We've been here on Whitefield Main Road for a good while now, right next to the police station. Most people just know us by the building or the smell of food when they walk past. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic out front, but inside things are a bit more steady. I usually get in early to start on the day's prep because chopping vegetables and getting the spices sorted takes a lot longer than you'd think. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s just us in the kitchen making lunch and dinner for the folks who work around here or live in the neighborhood. Some days are loud and crowded, and other times it’s just a few regulars sitting in the corner drinking tea. We try to keep the place tidy, though the old floors have seen a lot of feet over the years. The menu doesn't change much because we found what works for the local crowd. We buy our supplies from the markets nearby, and if something isn't fresh, we just don't make that dish that day. It’s pretty simple really. We like being part of this street and seeing the same faces every week. Sometimes we run out of stuff early when it's busy, but that's just how it goes. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. If you're walking toward the station, you'll see us there.
