Hema

Hema is located over on 5th Road in BTM Layout. We’re near the JMD 43 building, which is a pretty good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The area is always buzzing with people and scooters, especially in the evenings. Our shop is small and tucked away, so you might miss it if you aren't looking closely. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the stuff we keep in stock, but we manage to find what we need. It’s mostly just a couple of us running the place. We’ve been here for a few years now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. New buildings go up and old ones get torn down, but we just stay here doing our thing. We don't have a website or a big social media presence. Most of our customers are just people who live nearby and walk past us every day. We talk about the weather or the traffic while we work. It’s a very informal atmosphere. Sometimes we close up a little early if it’s a slow day, or stay late if someone needs something urgently. We don't follow a strict corporate manual. We just try to be helpful and keep things simple. It’s a small life, but it’s ours and we are happy with how things are going in BTM Layout. We're usually around from morning until the sun goes down.
