You can find us over at No. 299 on the 4th Cross in the Doddanna Industrial Estate. It’s a noisy part of Hegganahalli, but that is how industrial areas are supposed to be I guess. We have been running the machines here for quite a long time. The workshop is full of metal scraps and the smell of oil, which is pretty much what you expect from an engineering place like ours. We mostly handle small and medium jobs that the bigger factories don't want to bother with. My hands are usually covered in grease by ten in the morning, and the guys working with me are the same way. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools too. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but the work gets done and the measurements are right. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you just walk into the shed and find me or one of the boys near the back. We do a lot of welding and turning, and we’ve seen all sorts of parts come through these doors. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local manufacturing crowd here in this part of town.
