Hassanaamba Toolings

We are located at 86/1 near Subbamma Circle, right behind Oxford Polytechnic in Sarakki Village, J.P. Nagar. It’s a busy little pocket of Bangalore. Our shop is where we do all our tooling work, and you can usually hear the grinders going from the street. We’re close to the students and the local shops, so there’s always people walking by the open shutters. The workshop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put the lathes and the milling machines. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s the nature of making tools. We spend a lot of time on precision work, making sure the metal parts fit exactly how they’re supposed to for our clients. We don’t have a fancy front office; usually, if you want to talk to us, you just walk right into the shop floor. Most of the people we work with are local manufacturers who need specific parts made or repaired. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a straightforward life, just focusing on the metal and the measurements. Sometimes we have to redo a piece if it’s not just right, because we don’t like sending out sloppy work to anyone. We’ve been in this part of J.P. Nagar for years and watched the area change around us. It’s a good community and we’re happy to be a part of it, even with the noise and dust.
