Harsha Engineer Works

Our workshop is at No. 12 on the 14th Cross in Vishveshwarayya Industrial Estate. It’s tucked away off Andrahalli Main Road, but the trucks find us okay. We do various engineering jobs here, mostly small parts and repairs. The machines are old but they still run well if you know how to handle them. We spend most of our time at the lathes or the milling machines. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, there’s oil and grease on most surfaces, but that’s part of the job. We don’t really have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The 5th Main area is always buzzing with other workshops too, so there is always a bit of industrial noise in the air. We keep a small notebook for orders and try to get things done as fast as we can. Sometimes we stay late when a machine breaks down and needs fixing. It's just a few of us here making things work. We don't do big speeches or promises, we just look at the part and see if we can make it. It's a simple setup but it works for what we do. The floor gets a bit slippery when we are doing heavy machining, so we have to be careful. We try to stay organized but sometimes the tools end up all over the place.
