Green Wood High International School

We are located at No.8-14 in Chikkawadayarapura. It’s a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. We are near Heggondahalli, out by the Gunjur Post. The main way to find us is via the Varthur Sarjapur Road. This part of Bangalore is changing fast. It used to be mostly fields, but now Green Wood High International School is part of a growing neighborhood. The road can be quite dusty during the dry season. We have a good amount of space for the classrooms and the outdoor areas. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but most of the parents are used to the Varthur traffic by now. We try to keep the place looking decent. The buildings are spread out. You can see the trees and some of the older village structures still standing nearby. It’s an interesting mix of new and old. Inside the school, things are pretty standard. We have our desks, our boards, and the usual hallway clutter. The kids keep us busy from early morning until the buses leave in the afternoon. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, but we have a good group of people here. Sometimes the printer jams or the grass gets a bit too long before the mower arrives. It is just a normal, busy school environment. We do what we can with the time we have each day. Most of us go home pretty tired every evening.
