Grand Restaurant

Our place is located at No.13, right next to the Munichannappa Kalyana Mantapa. If you know the Old Gurappan Palya Main Road, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on days when there is a big wedding or an event at the mantapa. Being just off Bannerghatta Road means there is a constant stream of traffic and people moving around at all hours. We have been here at Grand Restaurant for quite some time now. The morning starts with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of the first batch of coffee being made in the kitchen. We don't have any big slogans or missions to talk about. We just want to make sure that the people who walk in through that door leave feeling like they had a decent meal. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking over it, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Bengaluru is a fast city that is always changing, but inside here, things feel a bit more grounded. We know the regulars who come in after their work shifts and the ones who just want a quick bite before heading back into the traffic. It’s a lot of hard work, and some days are definitely harder than others, but we keep at it. It’s just what we do here in this little corner of the city.
