Gramin is located at shop number 20 inside Raheja Arcade, right in the 7th Block of Koramangala. We’ve been in this spot in Bangalore for quite a long time now. Most people know us for being a bit different from the other cafes in the area. We don't have flashy neon signs or modern furniture. We used a lot of clay and simple materials for the walls and the seating. It makes the place feel a bit like a village house tucked away in the middle of a big city. The lighting is a bit dim and it’s usually quite full of people. We serve North Indian food that’s more on the traditional side. We don’t do anything fusion or trendy. It’s just dal, rotis, and sabzi like you’d get in a rural kitchen. The space is a bit tight, so you might be sitting close to the next table, but that’s part of the experience here. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the lunch rush hits 560095, but the kitchen staff works as fast as they can. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team. It’s just a simple restaurant where we try to keep the flavors honest. People seem to like that we haven't changed much over the years. We’re just here in the arcade doing our thing every day. It’s a bit rustic and maybe a little cramped, but it’s home to us.
