Graffitti Dance Academy

Graffitti Dance Academy is right in the middle of Koramangala. We are located on 3rd Main in the 8th Block. If you know Bangalore, you know this area is always moving and changing. The academy is a bit of a local spot for people who love to dance. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything fancy like that. It’s a space where we just focus on the movement and the music. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the shoes over the years, but that’s how a real dance studio should look. We have some mirrors on the walls and a sound system that we’ve had to fix a few times now. It’s not a high-end luxury gym with a spa. It’s a place for people who actually want to learn and dance. The 8th Block is a good neighborhood with a lot of character. There’s a lot of energy around here every day. Sometimes the music gets a bit loud and the neighbors might hear us, but we try to be respectful of the time. It’s just a few of us running the whole place. We don't have a front desk person sitting there all the time. Usually, one of the instructors just handles the door when someone knocks. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't care much about fancy outfits. People just show up in whatever they can move in easily. We just like to keep the music playing.
