Gold Finch Hotel

Our place is on Crescent Road, over in the High Grounds area of Bangalore. It’s a nice part of town, quite green compared to the rest of the city. We’re at 32/3. It’s a hotel, plain and simple. We’ve got rooms and a bit of a dining area for whoever is staying. We aren't part of some massive global chain with a thousand rules for everything. It’s more relaxed here. The staff mostly know the regulars by their names. Sometimes the traffic on Crescent Road gets backed up, especially when there's something happening at the nearby grounds, but usually, it’s okay. We don't spend money on big billboards or online ads. Most of our guests are people in town for business or visiting family in the 560001 zip code. The building has been here for a while, and we do our best to keep everything running smooth. If a lightbulb goes out or a tap leaks, we fix it. It's not a flashy place, just a solid building where you can get some sleep. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the sheets are clean and the food is hot when it's served. My manager usually sits near the front to keep an eye on things. It’s a practical setup for people who just need a place to stay in a good location. We’re just a local business trying to do a decent job every day.
