Gokaldas Images Pvt Ltd is based at 284 Lawsel Nilayam in Basavanagar. This is near the Marathahalli area of Bangalore, so you can imagine what the traffic is like around here. Most of us spend a good chunk of time just getting to and from the office. The building itself, Lawsel Nilayam, is a sturdy place and we have our office setup inside. It is not some high-tech office with glass walls. We have regular fans and wooden desks that have seen better days. We do our image work and manage the garment production schedules from here. It is often a bit chaotic with people talking over each other and the sound of the printer going off. Basavanagar is a busy spot, and there is always something happening on the street outside. We have a few small shops nearby where we go to get our stationery or a quick tea. It is an honest living. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture because we would rather focus on the work itself. We have stacks of files and boxes that need to be sorted, and that takes up most of our time. It is just a group of us working hard in a part of Bangalore that never really sleeps. We do what we have to do and try to keep things moving. The routine is the same every day, but it keeps the business going.
