Our place is tucked away in Vikramnagar, specifically at 868 on 11th B Cross. It’s a bit of a maze finding the right cross street around here sometimes if you aren't from around here. We spend our time looking at data and trying to find the right people for different jobs that need filling. It’s mostly computer work and lots of phone calls throughout the afternoon. The office is quiet compared to the main road, which is nice for focusing. We have a few computers and some stacks of files that probably need organizing one of these days. Most of us have lived in Bangalore long enough to know the shortcut through 8th main when the traffic is bad. We don't do much fancy stuff, just looking at spreadsheets and talking to candidates who are looking for a change in their career. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit to get back to our work. It’s a small team here. We usually eat lunch together at a nearby stall because it’s easier than cooking at home. We’ve been at this for some time now. It’s not a very exciting job but it’s steady and we like the neighborhood. We see a lot of resumes and try to make sense of all the skills people list. It’s about trying to fit the right person into the right spot without making a whole lot of fuss about it.
