Ghar Ka Bhojan

We run Ghar Ka Bhojan out of SAI Garden in Whitefield. The address is Sathya Flat-4, No 006. It’s right opposite the HP Petrol Pump, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. Since we are in a flat, it’s a very quiet and small-scale operation. We focus on making food that isn't too oily or heavy, just like you would eat at home. Whitefield is so busy and loud, but inside the apartment complex, it’s a bit more peaceful. We start our day by going to the local market to see what’s good. Then it's back to the kitchen to start the chopping. It’s mostly just the two of us. One person cooks and the other handles the orders and the cleaning. We don't have a sign outside on the main road, so most people find us through word of mouth or online listings. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of containers to pack, but we make it work. The petrol pump across the street is a good landmark because the traffic there is always moving. We don't do anything fancy, no special garnishes or complicated names for the dishes. It’s just rice, rotis, and vegetables. We finish up late in the evening and then get ready to do it all again the next day.
